This includes upgrading firewalls/Remote Access/SSL VPN hardware and software, maintaining standard version of code and remediating non standard configurations to meet the organization’s IT needs, as well as managing the roll-out of new firewalls/Remote Access/SSL VPN devices, and ensuring that corrective and preventative measures are performed on existing firewalls.

A solid understanding of available network operating systems, network equipment, and networking protocols is essential. The individual must be experienced in large enterprise or service provider network architecture, analysis, and engineering implementation.
