Our direct client in New York City needs a strong MS SQL and Database Design Expert to design and implement a new sales database that will allow the company to track report and analyze sales from all domestic and international locations. Must be a local candidate – client requires face to face interviews only.
Client wants to develop a sales database that will accept transactions from these other offices so they can create reports, web pages and graphs across all locations.
*Skills needed: *MS SQL and database design experience along with SharePoint, .NET or Java experience Good knowledge of accounting, sales and inventory applications Ability to develop a web-based front-end to access the sales data and reports May want to evaluate and implement ad hoc reporting tool to work against this data Dashboard type reporting experience helpful This person will work with the IT Director and programmer on staff to define attributes, database design and data migration
Communication skills are extremely important! Duration is 3-6 months.
