Position: Supply chain management resource
Location: San Francisco, CA – Locals Preferred!
Duration: 12 + months
Rate: ALAP (H1 are fine)
Consultants must meet the Mandatory Qualifications to be considered for award.
Consultants will be evaluated on expertise and experience stated in the resume against the mandatory qualifications.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Configuration expertise in SAP Supply Chain Management module that includes inventory control and classifications;
Expertise in SAP SRM including Document Builder, and ability to design new contract areas and templates;
Ability to write a functional specification;
Ability to use basic SAP tools including SE16N, and dictionary tools for analysis and development work;
Knowledge of MM, SCM, and SRM authorizations and security paradigm
Knowledge of integration with FM, FI, PM, and CO
Knowledge of SAP ABAP query, drilldown reports, report writer, or report painter; and
Knowledge of and ability to execute project management methodologies.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Baccalaureate degree or IT certification in management information systems or computer science.
2. Knowledge of bar code and/or RFID Interface integration with SAP.
3. Consultative experience with at least one SAP implementation, upgrade, or project support team for a public sector agency (e.g., State of California).
4. Experience with multiple SAP implementations for private and/or public sector clients.
5. Ability to perform training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to CDCR/CPHCS BIS staff.
C. SCOPE OF SERVICES
Contractor is required to perform all of the following:
1. Design and implement project cost tracking including, but not limited to, supply chain configuration to facilitate tracking;
2. Support, train, and mentor CDCR/CPHCS BIS/SAP production staff;
3. Design and implement time recording, evaluation, and crediting against purchase orders of contracted employees;
4. Design interface of SAP procurement records with external reporting systems;
5. Configure financial modules related to warehouse inventory management that includes, but is not limited to, all of the following:
Design of supply points;
Cost allocation of supplies consumed; and Use of bar-code or RFID input/output devices.
6. Provide coordination of project activities with other project teams; 7. Provide input and technical support to other project team members for maintenance of data processing systems, multifunction office automation systems, and/or teleprocessing networks;
8. Establish and maintain regular project communications with key stakeholders; 9. Collaborate with State staff to identify and resolve problems with IT processing system hardware, software and processes;
10. Assist with preparation of issue, decision, and research documents; 11. Prepare status report(s), budget/cost report(s), and issue and risk report(s) involving IT projects; 12. Monitor and maintain project development and implementation schedules; 13. Participate in Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) coordination meetings and perform system analyses on IT projects; and
Consultant will provide technical support with information gathering meetings, fact-finding meetings, working sessions, status reporting (both verbal and written), presentations, and general communication(s) on an ongoing basis to help ensure success of the project.
14. Any other related duties as requested by CPHCS’ PMO Director or designee.
