Oracle Functional Consultant / Business Analyst

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration – 6 months + (Long term)

Require Face-face in San Jose after initial round of phone interviews

Role Description:

• Ramp up on the client Process to understand the business process in depth around Accounts Payable and iExpenses

• Liaison with the end business users to understand functional requirements

• Create BRD’s based on Functional requirements

• Assist the IT Analyst based on the functional knowledge of Oracle

• Write and Execute Test cases in Mercury Quality Center

• Support transitions as and when required

• Resolve any support issues which may arise from enhancements or patch application

Technical Skills:

Mandatory

• In-depth knowledge of Accounts Payable and iExpenses R12

• At least 2 End to End Implementations as a Functional Consultant in Oracle E Business Suite on Accounts Payable and iExpenses- will not accept resumes without these skills

• Exposure to Large Scale Oracle Projects (Multiple Operating Unit/SOB’s, large user base)

• Exposure to Mercury Quality Center or similar tools

• A good overall understanding of the business process relevant to the Procure to Record flow

Good to Have

• Experience in Instance Consolidation Projects

• Experience in Upgrade Projects

Personal Requirements:

– Strong communication skills – written, speaking and presentation skills – Good interpersonal skills – Self starter i.e can work with little supervision – Excellent time management – Local bay area candidates only – Willing to be flexible on the schedule based on project requirements

Under minimal supervision, a Facets Business Systems Associate Analyst analyzes a wide range of FACETS configuration change requests for the purposes of determining the technical scope of the change, its impact on existing systems configuration, and ultimately the exact nature of the modifications required to implement the change.
