two Functional Analyst / Business Analyst with Business Object experience
I am looking for two Functional Analyst / Business Analyst with Business Object experience
Number of positions: 2 (both in Cupertino)

- Work with users to understand their needs and be able to articulate that through requirement and functional specifications as well as through playback session
- Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plan
- Interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirement
- Collaborate with project manager and developers to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
- Serves as the conduit between the users and the development team
- Conducts quality assurance functional testing to ensure the solutions are tested properly and signed off by key users
- Create and maintain project documentation including requirements, functional specifications, test plans, presentations, user documentations and training materials
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
- Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
- Interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
- Create and maintain project documentation including requirements, functional specifications, test plans, presentations, user documentations and training materials
Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in Data Analysis, Functional and Business Analysis * Extensive experience in requirement analysis and documentation * Demonstrated capability working on complex applications and problems involving all phases of systems analysis to provide solutions * Good understanding of business processes and functionalities * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Strong presentation, analytical, and communication skills * Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment * Ability and desire to produce quality products and be results driven * Ability to query data using Business Objects. If not, must be strong in SQL.
Optional: Work experience in sales or retail sales industry
